A Halloween Puppy – The Cinema Snob

From David DeCoteau, the director of A Talking Cat, comes a Halloween themed film also featuring Eric Roberts as a talking animal!

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. Well, when all you have is a hammer (talking animal), everything must look very weird when you use it XD Great review!

  2. Goddammit, Eric Roberts, stop appearing in cheap crap! You were Sal “The Boss” Maroni in The Dark Knight, for Christ sake!?

The opening credits of this film is showing the worst rendition of the song “This Is Halloween” from Nightmare Before Christmas.

4:38- Thank you very much, movie, for reminding me The Hulk, which is far, far, FAR better than you’ll ever be.

8:28- And the Razzie for worst actor goes to…

Note to self: Don’t forget to watch all 4 Evil Dead movies this week, just to wash the memory of this movie away.

David DeCoteau using the same shooting locations in his films is a lot like when Nick Phillips did the same thing when he did Crazy Fat Ehtel 2 and the Death Nurse movies.

14:30- So Eric Robert’s voiceover is like the horny parade commentator in Fun in Balloon Land?

This movie is so NOT neeto. At least I have absolutely no plans on seeing “Boo! A Madea Christmas.” Speaking of which, has anyone seen that Fat Grandma Halloween spoof trailer?

Holy shit, that overacting teen is magical. Someone put him in a Tommy Wiseau film! The universe needs to combine their brilliance! Also, am I the only one who finds it surreal that Eric Roberts is not only the voice of the talking dog (and talking cat) in these films but also the voice of Dan Phantom from Danny Phantom? Just me? Okay, I’ll go back to my nerd corner 😛
