It’s a cool concept, giving the teens the power to fight back, but it barely helps most of them. They throw one thing at Freddy and then they lose. I wish it’d been more of an epic fight.
It is kind of odd that this movie builds up the whole dream power team and than falls into the standard slasher scenario to kill most of them off one by one. While in the next movie they start out following standard slasher protocol to kill off the remaindering team and end with an epic dream power solo fight. One can’t stick with the Dream Warriors concept and the other can’t keep most of the it’s run time on the Dream Master concept!
I still like the movie do. It does seem deserving of it’s reputation as best of the Elm Street sequels. It’s just limited by the trapping of the time.
I remember years ago marathoning all the Freddy movies with a girl I was dating at the time. She was kind of obsessed with the series, it might’ve had something to do with the fact she had narcolepsy.
So her name is Admiral Ackbar?
Sorry had too
