  1. I mean DVD (man I wish there was an edit button on here!)

  2. I’ve seen this movie at some point, but I only remembered the Clinton cash.

  3. It’s been long enough I demand that Hollywood do a reboot or a remake or make a sequel to Pluto Nash.

  4. I assumed they’d do Batman Vs Superman eventually but I didn’t think it would be so soon.
I’m actually more exited about Pinky, Elmira and the Brain

    • Especially since his last two crossovers where clipless this is 2 clipless crossovers in 3 weeks (Not counting editorials) normally he avoids that.

  5. Plastic paper aka transparencies? Man, haven’t seen those or overhead projectors since elementary school pre 2000.

  6. Wow this movie is so forgettable I won’t even remember this review. Except the movie shitting on the perfection of Rosario Dawson.

  7. I honestly never heard about this movie before, the only time I did was when Vanoss & The Gang made a joke out of in their Gmod vid. Now actually seeing clips and from what it contains, it looks god awful. I hope you’ll be able to do a Norbit review at some point, another Murphy film that I just can’t stand to watch. Other than that, a good review, it’ll be interesting to see what you do with Batman V Superman: Dawn of AAAAAAIIIIIIIDDDDDDDSSSSSSSS.

  8. Oh, I didn’t see this coming. I didn’t come because I love Eddie Murphy. One big reason that I came because YAY! A clip review! MUCH LOVE was earned just for that reason alone! However, let’s see how the next one is (and at least Angry Joe will be there). -_- Well… at least they tried to do some foreshadowing in this movie as crappy as it is. Oh, and you leave Sex in the City alone! LOL.

  9. I still plan to see Batman VS Superman.
Also, I thought the Alex Baldwin cameo was hilarious.

  10. You know why Eddie-clone is looking left and right there and then? He’s just checking if there are any other plot twists in the room that they can potentially shoe-horn in.

  11. @1:00 I’ve never even heard of this one

  12. When she said “You can take your love of Eddie Murphy and shove it up your ass!”, I immediately said “I don’t love Eddie Murphy! I love Nostalgia Critic!” 😛

  13. I saw some of it on TV, and, I can’t put my finger on it, but somehow, it did not seem like a wheel movie. It seemed like a movie with in a movie, some bad crabbily made old sci-fi movie that the characters are watching, not unlike what you said about patrol in Central Park Only live action.

  14. [Pedant]Actually, Doug, the design for Mega-City One in Judge Dredd came before Blade Runner, in the comics. :p [/Pedant].

  15. Please review Mars Needs Mom!

  16. Trump isn’t as close to Hitler and Mussolini as people think. For one thing, Hitler and Mussolini had personal trained armies and read books. Trump just has a gang of drunk yokels and doesn’t know what “look it up” means.

  17. Seriously, EVERY reviewer online needs to allude to “Space Mutiny” at some point. 😀

  18. Great to see this review. I have heard about how much of a failure this movie is considered and actually once had someone insist they really liked this movie (and not in an ironic so-bad-it’s-good way).

  19. Loved the multiple choice joke! I can’t wait to see the behind the scenes of you as Trump/Hitler.

  20. I do have ONE movie worse than Pluto Nash (and it inexplicably came out around the same time): 2001: A Space Travesty, starring Leslie Nielsen.

  21. Lord Psychopath

No retard, that scene from Hitchhiker’s guide was a construction site, not a city. Did you even see Hitchhiker’s Guide before you Google searched for images from the movie?

  22. But I clicked on this video for you guys I’ll have you know, as well as for Pluto, and for Nash!

  23. ThatGillsWithTheGlasses

Why does the visuals of this movie look way outdated than the original Total Recall and Demolition Man…?

  24. I wonder why he didn’t talk about the new AVGN game?

  25. Hey! I liked Clerks 2.

  26. I never saw Pluto Nash. In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen an Eddie Murphy movie since… err… when did Trading Places come out?

Unless the Shrek movies count, that is…

  27. I don’t know if it’s so, but it seems like one of those movies that got bounced around a lot, leading to script changes based on who was attached to it. It’s like it started as a 20’s gangster movie and morphed into a “sci-fi comedy gangster movie”, but no one really tried very hard to put the bits together.

By the way, why not just shoot Pluto in the head, dispose of the body, and just claim to be Pluto and take over the club?

  28. Blaze The Movie Fan

    Great job as usual.

  29. And here I was hoping for the OTHER Cadbury Bunny there.

  30. The AVGN took a shot at you in his latest (Megaman) episode. You should get revenge.
