What Is Reality? – Bat-May

What is Reality is the second appearance of The Riddler in Batman: The Animated Series. While in his first appearance Edward Nygma trapped our characters in a giant maze game, this time things shift to more of a digital frontier as Batman and Robin try to outsmart Nygma in a virtual world of his own creation. Day Of The Samurai – Bat-May

Day of The Samurai is a sequel to 'Night of the Ninja' from early this season. It's one of the more sophisticated episodes Walter has reviewed so far with plenty of subtitles for the Japanese language scenes, the legend of an ancient fighting technique, and a climatic battle on the side of a volcano. Moon Of The Wolf – Bat-May

After watching Tyger, Tyger directly before this it's easy to say that Moon of the Wolf is this kind of episode done right. This episode features a sympathetic but intimidating villain, a returning mad scientist, some gnarly distinctive music, Batman doing the detective work, and a strong finale made sure this episode hit all the right notes. Joker’s Wild – Bat-May

Joker's Wild had an all-star team behind it with Paul Dini writing, the late-great Boyd Kirkland directing, and Joker starring as the main villain so you would think this would be one of the greats, but as is it's just alright. This episode is a mixed bag with some really fun ideas and concepts that were unfortunately bogged down by the animation. Walter continues his deep dive into Batman: The Animated Series.
