Why? Just….why?
The only thing I can think of is that since it’s old enough the property rights must have been cheap. The revised cartoon that had been air before this had been cancelled for 3 years. I can’t imagine the reruns were doing well enough for them to think there would be profit from this. I mean the whole premise is a giant baby who’s a clutz. How much can you possibly milk out of such a lame idea.
Holy shit, I loved this movie as a kid. Though, in my defense, I was probably only six or seven. I actually remember that villain song (or at least, the music). But yeah, this film definitely did not age well.
