It flopped at the box office, and truth is you can see why, but is there more to this film in terms of how creatively insane it is? Nostalgia Critic takes a look at Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).

    The handling of Cassandra Cain is… pathetic. I guess that’s the word to use.

    I don’t think this character would ever get her own movie. If they did make a batgirl movie it would almost certainly be the Barbara Gordon version. That said, why use the name of a character when every single detail about her is wrong. Every detail. You might think they got her race right, but in the comics she’s only half asian. Really every single detail is wrong. What’s the plan, just get a tiny niche audience angry for the attention?
