Captain America: Civil War – Midnight Screenings

Fresh out of the hospital, Brad and Brian check out the new Captain America movie!

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. Marissa Tomei is 51. Yup. That’s what 51 looks like now. Deal.

  2. Where you talking about “80’s Tupperware”? With the brown, orange and green colours? I remember having them but we had 2 extra colours! We had a white and yellow mixed in. My parents still have a orange and yellow bowls you can put in mircowave. Great for heating baked beans fast.

  3. Your marker isn’t old timey racist, it’s multilingual. The three most spoken languages in North America are English, French, and Spanish. Noir is French for black. Negro is Spanish for black.

Anyway, one of the reasons I think Civil War works better than Batman v Superman, apart from just being a better movie made by more competent filmmakers, is that it has all these previous movies to draw from. It doesn’t have to work as hard to establish its three dimensional characters or their conflicts because previous movies have already done the heavy lifting of setting these things up.
