I just noticed something…. is the mom at the end the same as Riley’s mom from Inside Out?
I should clarify, the mom of the kid who Andy gave the toys to.
Fuck you Doug, you have no idea how millennials are. I’m in college and I still miss a lot of my toys. I’m not as super attached to them as I used to be, sure, but I still value what they meant to me, and I find myself to be a VERY nostalgic person. In fact a lot of my friends are like that, a lot of my peers are like that, hell, almost everybody my age online is like that. When Toy Story first came out, most of us were Andy’s age, we saw as much life in our toys as he did, and by the time Toy Story 3 came out all of us were at that same stage of life that Andy grew up to. And that ending WAS us in a lot of ways. Maybe you’re just too old to understand it, but times have changed, the way our generation acts is far more different from how yours acted, I’m sure you’ve noticed. But instead of snickering at our expense or saying “we need to get out more” or “watch older movies you damn millennials”, maybe you should just take the time to understand why we’re different and how, and just accept that. You don’t have to like the same things we like or even react to certain things the same way we do, but the very least you can do for all of us is to just acknowledge that generational difference and just accept and understand that.
I still like ya Doug, but MAAAAN you can be kind of a douche sometimes. But nobody’s perfect.
