Surprised you didn’t mention the music. Daft Punk’s score is one of the best EVER filmscores and, apart from the visuals and Olivia Wilde, is the best part of the film!
I personally think that this film is far better than the original. Not that the first one was bad, but this one had good acting, a lot of atmosphere, amazing visuals, and GOOD LORD, THAT MUSIC.
I personally LOVE this movie and the original, and I’m super disappointed that Disney canceled the third movie. This series still has so much potential, and now we might never get to see it become more fully realized. Well, at least we’ve got these two fun little adventures to enjoy.
