I was surprised that Downsizing was rated R. The trailers made it seem like a family-friendly movie like Walter Mitty or something.
Yeah, I hadn’t even seen the poster for Father Figures but I’ve seen the trailer every day on TV and it was an instant no.
I’m saddened that they ruined a good first movie, turned it into a mediocre second movie, and now a third movie that I’ll just wait to rent to be a completionist. I don’t think that they ever hinted at any action subplot in the other movies.
