Wow…just missed beating the Animaniacs tribute episode as the longest Nostalgia Critic video by just 26 seconds. So close, but so far, so hilarious.
Fox Kids and whatever the programs on YTV were my childhood, good times…
ACTUALLY, Tiny Toons ran on Nickelodeon from 1995 to 1999, which is where I primarily watched it as a kid and was easily backed by a Google search.
But, you know… details. Not your thing when it comes to trying to make fun of other creators when you think you’re right.
Doug ignoring easily confirmed facts about other creators because he thinks he’s in the right?
Ludicrous, unthinkable, he certainly would do no such thing and drive away 95% of his producers!
Well, Doug could be referring to first-run broadcasting, in which he would technically be right, but by not saying it wasn’t airing in reruns on Nickelodeon at all could still count as a fuck-up.
ACTUALLY, Tiny Toons originally ran from 1990 to 1992. Nickelodeon only aired the reruns during 1995 to 1999. Since this video was all about Fox Kids, there was no reason to mention Nick airing the reruns here.
But, you know… details. Not your thing when it comes to trying to make fun of other creators when you think you’re right.
What the hell are you talking about?! Spiderman 1999 is still the best Spiderman cartoon that exists, despite heavy censorship. The only worthy competitor to this day is Spectacular Spiderman.
Correction: 1994* 1999 was when the video game came out ;]
An hour? You weren’t kidding about this being your longest episode.
Small correction here; Roscoe Lee Browne did the voice of the Kingpin on Spider-man cartoon, not Tony Jay. Although being that they’re both dead and had cool deep voices, I can understand the confusion.
The only time I remember waking up on Saturday morning as a kid was for the Bratz TV show, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Sonic X. I haven’t heard of most of these shows. They must have been before my time. I remember seeing reruns of the Tick on Jetix I think it was. I think I did see Digimon on Fox Kids. I only remember Angela Anaconda before the Digimon movie. Although, I did guess Tim Curry. Yay! Lastly, 16:27 was really funny.
So Basically NC Commercials of Saturday Morning cartoon episode. ^_^
……COMMERCIALS!
Less talked about Angela Anaconda the better.
2:07 OK, half of these were NOT on Saturday mornings, and where are Tarzan and The Super 7, and where are Alvin and The Chipmunks and where is Mr. T and where is………..

4:01 I remember the one ad promo where they took the “Lone Ranger Theme”:
“Catch The X-Men next, you can’t resist / Batman & Robin top the list”
5:45 So, basically, Rugrats on Fox Kids????
10:13 What, no Tim Curry jokes????
12:04 Lewis was just talking about this a few weeks ago when he reviewed Captain N.
(Yes, I know Lewis is no longer on Channel Awesome. I miss the good old days.)
13:50 The Prince was supposedly modeled after Johnny Depp circa 1990,
who was dating Winona Ryder at the time.
21:30 See —- just like you said in the “Catwoman” review —- that really did happen with Sean Young.
23:21 Oh, we are the Buddy Bears, we always get along!!!!
35:07 Once again, Lewis is no longer on Channel Awesome.
37:09 This is getting a reboot as well.
50:27 TRUK NOT MUNKEY
56:54 You didn’t mention Super Dave at all!!!!!!
I finally found that Lone Ranger Fox Kids promo. See, I wasn’t lying.

Literally thought of Tim Curry, lol. Man, I forgot how great that Peter Pan show was. Used to rent the videos from blockbuster as a kid.
