I wonder if they’re ever going to make ‘Friday the 13th: Jason takes a Vacation?’
Kind of off-topic, but FYI: Joel Hodgson is kickstarting a campaign to bring back Mystery Science Theater 3000! Apparently he recently re-acquired the rights, and wants to make a whole season of feature length episodes!
I won’t post a bunch of links here (you can google it), but I know Brad has said a few times that MST3K is his all time favorite show (mine too) and it’s likely been the inspiration for many of our favorite internet reviewers, and a life-long obsession with B-movies, exploitation films, and cheesy movie monsters.
Hey, he’s a day early!
This one is my personal favorite of the franchise. While i frequently rented the others as a kid, this one i actually owned a copy of on VHS, so i watched it more then the others and got most attached to it. I do recognize its flaws, but i still hold it as my favorite due to the nostalgic value of watching it the most as a kid.
Maybe the can come up with a Friday the 13th movie where the zombies of all his victims come back to hunt him down. Friday the 13th Part 13 the revenge, or something like that.
My favorite of the franchise, with 4 being a close second. Fun fact: this film was one of the inspirations for Scream, and was almost directed by the same man who directed this.
I was planning to watch this today and I must say this an excellent episode and while I watched it today it was a good thing I was grounded cause if I wasn’t I would have watched this episode on thursday or Wednesday(and that would have been a shame now wouldn’t it).
