Hi-Tops – The Cinema Snob

Yo kids, lets rap about this 1985 Christian stage musical about peer pressure!

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. a christian rock-opera about eugenics, should have seen that coming.

  2. Of course you’re reviewing a Christian musical on the show.

3:09- I’ve seen high school plays that were better produced and acted than this shit.

The armored angels of good look like they got lost on their way to the set of The Star Wars Holiday Special.

The audience sounds like they are the perfect people to enjoy Seth MacFarlane’s The Orville.

12:06- Now we know why there aren’t any Jewish TV/video movies like this.

Someone should tell Louy that he should give back Michael Jackson’s Thriller jacket.

16:31- I also compared this chick as Kimberly from the original Power Rangers.

18:49- You don’t need Superman. You need Batman, because that’s one of Poison Ivy’s plants. Also, thanks for not making another Man of Steel joke.

22:58- I played the alto saxophone from 5th-12th grade, but never this fucking good. At least this movie has ONE good thing about it.

26:52- When the fuck did this suddenly turn into a Stanley Kubrick movie?

    Please review Rhinestone next week.

  3. I have a sudden urge to go watch High School Musical. Because by comparison to this psychedellic nightmare, it’s like West Side Story.
