King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and The Circle – Midnight Screenings

Brad and Geno see an advanced screening of Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur, plus Brad and Irving see the Tom Hanks / Emma Watson film The Circle.

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. Oh… Now I see why I couldn’t find any King Arthur reviews. I didn’t expect you to be pissed. O.O Still, I may want to see it even if it’s at my local $2 movie theater. ?

I would probably go see The Circle if Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 wasn’t coming out next weekend.

  2. I could tell King Arthur was probably going to be shit based off that poster. Looks like a GQ glamour shot.

  3. Snorgatch Pandalume

So, there are insert shots when a character is introduced? Like when Lancelot shows up, there’s computer type saying: Lancelot du Lac. Nationality: French. Height: 5’11”. Weight: 185 lbs. Proficient with: sword, mace, ax, spear, lance. Weaknesses: Married women.
Is Warner Brothers even capable of making a good movie anymore?

  4. The Clive Owen one is better?!

Zounds – ‘You can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just ’cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!’

ADD: movie 2 – Oh yeah, this is how non-tech savvy Hollywood writers see the IT department and feel about it. Sure sure, nothing new here socially.

  5. I am truly, absolutely convinced that Hollywood these days has gone Insano-Bonkers Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs with capital letters, seriously Guy Ritchie is the real Dr. Insano, no scratch that, has become Dr. Super-Insano.

  6. Behold the end of creator driven media and normal, decent, intelligent, great human entertainment, how I hate to say it but I have to say it, Fuck Hollywood or Fuck studios like Warner Bros and executives and creators. The real Warner Brothers are all rolling in their graves and all 20th century American creators and technical wizards of American and all Earthy cinema. Shame on you Hollywood, do you hear me out there? Shame and fuck you Hollywood executives and/or rulers mostly, you people have no true or real imagination or humanity in your soul or brains. All I want to do is save some of old Hollywood charm from their CGI crapfest and crises of genre or storytelling in general.
