I didn’t like the review for this, mostly because I haven’t seen Hocus Pocus so I didn’t understand most of the review! LOL. Although, the Rice thing made me laugh, despite not understanding.
With the studio ghost you need to do “casper meets wendy” and bring back casper.
Timing! 😀
I thought this video felt almost like a Friedberg/Seltzer movie. Where certain movies like Nacho Libre or Snakes on a Plane are parodied, when they don’t need to be, because they are already movies that aren’t supposed to be taken seriously in the first place.
Spider-Jim, Spider-Jim
Does whatever’s a spider’s whim
Above the wall, down to the floor
Just to open a locked door
Look out! There goes the Spider-Jim!
Is it sad that I just now figured out why was Doug shaved in his Passion review with Brad?
BTW, I’ve since settled down and actually watched the review, after skipping the fan-hate scene. It’s good. So please stop with that trope. I mean, even the message of the video was that there are no uberfans who take the movie completely seriously. So it didn’t even fit.
It’s one thing to present the NC as not getting it. It’s another to create a group of straw-fans like this. It just comes off as you insulting the real fans. Especially after you’d already done it in the Matrix review and still have shown no regret.
You really should do a review of “The Last Starfighter”
Jim, you are the man.
Ghosts? Nah, somebody was just fiddling with the doorknob and didn’t own up to it.
