I love this film! Unfortunately I never saw any of them except the third one at the theater (and only because as a projectionist, I had to screen it – you have to screen the good with the bad and boy was that the latter.) Your mom’s reaction to remembering the third one is priceless! Btw, is it just me, or does the soundtrack to Beverly Hills Cop 2 sound a lot like Big Trouble in Little China?
Sorry. I meant Escape from New York. It’s definitely a Carpenter-esque score though.
