Miracles from Heaven – Midnight Screenings

Special Guest Doug Walker joins Brad to talk about the Jennifer Garner film Miracles from Heaven.

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. I love the chemistry Brad and Doug have. It’s always a pleasure when they’re in the same room… or car.

  2. The hose bit is totally real, and it is not a pleasant experience, I’ve done it twice… 1st time it really hurt, I was about 13 at the time, 2nd time it was just really uncomfortable, I was about 17 for that one.

  3. That Deadpool coincidence is hilarious. The only time I heard of this movie was when the trailer was before Zoolander 2 of all things. Well, it’s nice to see some balance in a movie. I’m kind of religious and so those religious friends that you were talking about kind of sound like Job’s friends when they were being douchebags. Oh, and I hope that the slow clap cliché never dies. I LOVE that cliché SO much. I still won’t see this movie but this review was certainly interesting.

  4. Yeah I can’t get past the small details for this one… like the implication that god will sort out your terminal illness better than a doctor can, or that unbelievers need to be “punished” by their loved ones dying so they’ll start believing.

Stuff like that feels like it really can do some damage and warp people’s outlooks.

  5. Was anybody else really hoping that this would turn out to be a tie in with Batman Vs Superman? Like they got mad about how many people were calling Henry Cavill cold, so they made a Jennifer Gardner movie and at the end Superman uses his X-Ray vision and super breath to knock the daughter out of the tree and make sure she landed on the exact right spot.
