Ah yes, The Bye Bye Man, a title that instills feelings of utmost terror, and dread. I daren’t subject myself to what will no doubt go down as the most horrifying film of the 21st century.
I am notoriously easy to annoy in the cinema being misophonic, but my worst experience was, sadly, my first time seeing the first Lord of the Rings film. A busload of schoolchildren were seeing the same showing as us, and they were over an hour late arriving. They actually delayed the movie until they got there, but because they were about 10, almost none of them had any interest in it so talked, laughed, threw things and yelled all the way through. I almost yelled when my first view of Galadriel was accompanied by a child shouting “Get your tits out!”
We complained, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we weren’t the only ones who got free tickets that night.
