It’s a small point, but the thing that April O’Neel is wielding is a sai. AND IT IS NOT A STABBING WEAPON! The point is blunt! Yes, you can use it to stab, but it usually a blunt weapon and she is holding it by the striking point! The bit that is mistaken for a blade is usually used as an arm guard to reinforce blocks while the part mistaken for a handle is used to strike people in their soft, squishy bits.
You think the 80s US knew what ninjas and/or Japan were like? 😛
