The cast & crew talk about the 10 year anniversary of the Nostalgia Critic.

About Channel Awesome

  1. DeTroutSpinners

Thanks for everything Doug, I’m often (and I think justifiably) critical of the political elements of some of your work but you’ve given a decade of your life towards this with no sign of slowing down any time soon. Some of your recent reviews, in particular Balto and Cool World, rank among my favourite that you’ve ever done. Your attempts to help other creators is also very commendable. I may not always agree with you but I want you to know that I appreciate what you do and will support you as long as you choose to continue making content.

  2. Decades from now, I’ll be casually reminded of CA, and I’ll say, “I watched that!”

  3. TragicGuineaPig

How come Malcolm doesn’t have his own CA show yet? GET ON THE BALL, MALCOLM!

    6:36 – “We’re human! I think, right?” No, Rob, you’re a dinosaur. You’re A Dinosaur!

  4. Oh my Gosh! 10 years already. O.O Congrats! I’ve been watching for about 6 years since high school, I think it was. You’ve lasted more than most TV shows and I hope you’ll be around for another ten years or more. ?

  5. I remember 10 years ago was a time when AVGN and NC dominated the Internet, which ended with a climatic fight.
Something you’ll never see nowadays, which is why Doug Walker’s reviews will always be unique, even 10 years onwards.

  6. I’ve been watching since the early days; I specifically remember that when I came on was between the 5 Second Movies for Batman & Robin and the review because I thought “Oooh, this is gonna be good” when the second video was released because the first video gave his exact thoughts, disgustingly so, on the film.

The first review I ever watched was for Mortal Kombat and I REALLY liked it; The description below the video said “Hey, I’ve got a website” and I went over to that website: Been watching ever since.

I’m also thankful to Channel Awesome in general because That Guy With the Glasses and, its successor site, introduced me to so many other content producers, many of whom I avidly followed even after they left the site.

Thanks, guys, for a decade of fantastic work and a lifetime of enjoyment; I will always be grateful.

  7. Kind of short, but still very nice. Tamara’s the cutest. I appreciate all the hard work you guys do. I’m glad you’ve been doing this for ten years. Well, you barely did anything in 2007. It still counts, though.
