A movie with Shaft, Kwai Chang Caine & Harry Potter (sorta) in it? It’s Larry Cohen’s 1982 monster movie “Q: The Winged Serpent”.

Wait.. did they say that Aztecs make human sacrifices to Quetzalcoatl? A only Mayan deity who strictly prohibit that practice? Well.. if fact they did, though generally that was unusual for this deity also worshiped by Aztecs.
Quetzalcoatl was an Aztec deity. The Mayan equivalent was Kukulkan; I have actually been to the temple of Kukulkan at Chichen Itza (and I just happened to be wearing a Trogdor the Burninator T-shirt when I was there). Also, the Mayans did practice human sacrifice.
An 80’s movie where the villain is a flying, resurrected Aztec god, and you got through the entire review without one Pumaman reference.
Nicely done! Also, I love that you’re really churning these out with much greater regularity. I like your reviews style and the movies you cover.
Puuu-ma MAAAN! HE FLIES LIKE A MORON!
