  1. I hope Christine will be on the list.

    • Here are others that are my favorites:

      Carrie (1976)
      The Shining (1980)
      The Dead Zone (1983)
      Misery (1990)
      The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
      The Mist (2007)

  2. The first time I heard of this was from Chris Stuckmann but it wasn’t an in-depth review like this. Aw, I love cats so I couldn’t see this movie but I loved seeing you make fun of it. “I don’t like Mary. Screw Mary, you cat-killing son-loving douche!” or at least that’s what I thought before I realized she was a villain.

Even though it’s not a movie, I thought Under the Dome was a pretty darn good Steven King show until the last 2 minutes.

  3. The Stand
    The original Carrie
    Silver Bullet

  4. Javier Fernandez

I suppose Shawshak will be in the list, but what about The Green Mile?

  5. The Nostalgiaween intro was phenomenal. The giddiness you had at the beginning made me giddy myself.

  6. Thinner
    Both creep shows
    The green mile
    Pet sematary
    The Shawshank Redemption
    The shining (og)

“The Green Mile,” “Stand by Me,” “The Shawshank Redemption,” “The Shining,” and “Carrie.” I don’t particularly care much for the other Stephen King works.

You know, seeing that we are going to have two weeks of this Nostalgia-ween dedicated to King, you might as well do an OLD vs. NEW of the Carrie films.

  8. I really liked this cop and his cat, they make hilarious pair, they can have a show dedicated to them.

Favourite King’s flicks? 1408, Mist and the Running Man, maybe.

  9. 1408 and The Mist should definetly be there. There is still some grade of sillyness in them from typical King tropes, but still manage to be if not scary, deeply unsettling movies. Specially the second one.

  10. Finally! A countdown of King’s best adaptations. Here are my favorites:

    – The Shawshank Redemption
    – Carrie (1976 version)
    – Pet Semetary
    – It (2017)
    – The Mist
    – Misery
    – Stand by Me
    – The Green Mile

  11. Misery
    The Green Mile
    The Shawshank Redemption
    The Shining
    Pet Sematary
    Needful Things
    Secret Window

  12. Christine and Misery have to be on the list!

  13. epic beetlejuice intro.
