Thanks for this review, after i had seen some other reviews of the movie i was expecting a very bad adaptation and considered skipping it completely. Now i am a bit relieved and gonna watch it with the sequel aspect in mind.
Acutally, the seventh and last book is called “The Dark Tower”.
If I remember the books correctly, the Dark Tower was actually the axis of all existence. If the Dark Tower falls, everything falls apart; existence itself will cease to be. This is somewhat indicated in Roland’s world, because everything seems to be expanding and pulling apart.
Also, how come that Man in Black never once sings “Ring of Fire” or “Ghost Riders”?
If I remember, I think the Man in Black is actually a manifestation of Nyarlathotep.
As a King Book and Movie fan, I am interested in seeing it, but unfortunately, I might have to wait until its out on Netflix since I am in one of those “Money is tight atm” situations for now. But good video Count Jackula and HorrorGuru.
