    Your a mean one, Mr.critic. 1st RockmanX3 take that

  2. So the conflict ends because one character reminds the other about his mother? Holy shit this IS Batman V Superman!

  3. Can you talk about the MTV series Good Vibes and Daria?

And on a side note, I mention this all before, why don’t you review a classic horror like this one I’ve finally found after all these years after just seeing a few scenes of it and never knowing how it ended. It’s called Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama. You might like it. Maybe.

Also what do think of these TV series shows called:
    John Doe
    Forever Knight
    The Misfits (British Show)
Misfits of Science (Movie and series)
    and The Zeta Project
(I think some of these shows are like Sonic the Hedgehog a.k.a. Sonic Sat a.m. They all have incomplete ending.)

P.S. Is there anyway you can review the Japanese versions of Ironman, Wolverine, X-men and Blade? I’d also really like to hear what you think about the FX series Archer and Chozen.

P.S.S. And I never found out if you were going talk more about the Disney Afternoon shows Gummi Bears, Chip N Dale’s Rescue Rangers, Talespin(even the hour uncut movie special I found about it) and Darkwing Duck. Also you never answer my question, If you hate the Goof Troop song: ā€œGotta Be Gettin’ Goofyā€ then does that mean you hate The Darkwing Duck Rap?

  4. I remember seeing this DVD when I was a kid. I never got it, but I was still curious about it.

  5. EPIIIIIC RAAAP BAAAAATLE OF…wait…wrong channnel…XD

  6. Wait, so is next week’s episode going to be your last ever? Your “Scooby-Doo” review used to be your last one! I have heard of this special before. It’s certainly better than most crossovers. I am aware of guide dogs, but have never heard of this before. Could you do Guide Will some time?

  7. 6:09 freaked me out ^^

  8. Doug, I will donate $200 to whatever charity is promoted the first review in August if u can go til then without taking a cheap shot at DC in one of your videos. We get it. You hate them. But plenty of people don’t and I’m starting to feel like a moron/loser for supporting them when every other word you say is “DC sucks.”

    • It’s low hanging fruit to talk trash about Batman v Superman, but I understand your frustration. Regardless, spend the $200 on yourself. I think you need a pick-me-up.

  9. Oh, yeah, I randomly saw this on TV not too long ago.
I don’t remember it being very engaging, especially not in the middle, and the ending confused me, but yeah, at least the Cat & the Grinch’s interactions were mildly entertaining
    I didn’t hate it.

  10. So basically Cat in the Hat was the first one to do the “MARTHAAA!” thing?

  11. I actually remember watching this special back in the mid-90’s when TNT and TBS where showing various Dr. Seuss specials during the release of Daisy Head Mayzie. I also remember ABC Family showing it years later when they were having a Dr. Seuss marathon during their 25 Days of Christmas.

It’s about time you got to review the Scooby-Doo sequel, and don’t tell us you’re gonna end the show again.

  12. An angry Radical Edward would be terrifying. Remember, at one point she poisons her friends for fun just to see what happens!

  13. That chibi Avatar: The Last Airbender tee shirt Doug wore in the charity shout out section– anyone know where you buy it?

  14. Really hope vessel goes under. Their player is garbage.

  15. 2:15 Zuul, MotherF@*ker, Zuul!!!!

  16. Honestly though on the vessel paid service just getting one week ahead is kind of pointless, because you still have to wait another week for the next episode after that one and by Dougs own admission many of these are hit or miss and sometimes both. When you tire of paying for a service that you can get for free elsewhere you then have to wait two weeks. Now if it were three weeks ahead for videos rather than one that would maybe be worth it but one week? Please! I’ll just be patient and get the same service a week later so I don’t have to pay money to do what I’m already doing anyways but can only have bragging rights to being one episode ahead.

  17. I think Batman and Robin had a bigger impact than Scooby Doo did.

  18. Yes! I’m so glad he’s doing Scooby Doo 2!

  19. Hey Doug, when are you going to do another What You Never Knew? i love those videos, haven’t seen one in a while!

  20. Wow, I’ve never heard of this. Also, next week should be interesting.

  21. FINALLY!!!! The NC is reviewing the second terrible-Scooby-Doo movie! Now it comes full circle!

  22. I’m glad the Guide Dogs was this weeks shout out(for personal reasons). Another good one is “Leader Dog for the Blind”.

  23. I was wondering when you’d cover Scooby-Doo 2. x))

  24. I think the moral in this one is that even faceless trolls and terrible people are human beings, represented by how the Grinch in fact has a soft spot for his mother and is not truly the “psychopath” the Cat in the Hat thought he was. Also, I think the scene where the Grinch’s reflection talks to the him, convincing him to do the bad things he does is symbolic of this as well. If it were not for his “bad side” (or whatever you want to call it), he would be a genuinely happy and nice person. Or maybe I’m reading too deep into a children’s crossover special, idk.

    • Snorgatch Pandalume

You can never read too deep into Dr. Seuss. Everything he did had a deeper meaning. This is a guy who used to do political cartoons in the early 1940s criticizing the U.S. government (particularly the Republican party) for not doing more to oppose Hitler. He even created his own mascot for the Republicans: The Gopstritch, a hybrid of an elephant and an ostrich (a bird known for burying its head in the sand).

    • I think the critic may be kinda missing important information which is well:
1). This was generally for kids
      but
2). In Seus’s time I would argue the ideals of life were much different and more family driven than they are today. From the UK perspective I would argue values such as families and communities are priorities with Individuality and Identity becoming more important. I think also with the birth of the Internet younger generation who feel abused or mistreated by their families have had a stronger voice on the media which may be one of the reasons the value of families isn’t as strong as it used to be.

This is pure speculation by the way, evidence is purely experience ^^. If it is the case though I would say it is a shame because I would argue in some way everyone wants/needs a family, whether it’s by blood, by community or in starting, but the saying that no man’s an island is a good example to suggest there is some form of love required in ones life.

  25. Watch ( or read ) “Butter Battle”
That really gets you thinking of Cold War politics !

  26. Snorgatch Pandalume

I get that it seems odd to see the Cat in the Hat not being serenely in control of the situation. It’s like watching Bugs Bunny being harassed by Daffy Duck.

  27. It is quite good

  28. When it comes to Dr. Seuss, the thing you should most wonder if that was real is his live action movie, “5000 Fingers Of Dr. T”.

I bet even fewer people know it even existed!

  29. I guess we are not going to acknowledge this one won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program.
