So yeah, the cream pie gag, much like the “script” gag (which has a “call-back” out in the desert) works both ways; as a kid, you laugh at it, because you’ll laugh at almost anything, and as an adult, you’ll laugh at it, because it is SO “low-brow” that you’ll have to laugh at it.
PS: Remember the script gag from “Men In Tights”?? Like I said, you HAVE to laugh at it.
