Ah well, to it’s credit at least it’s technically better than Marville. Still not good, but still better.
Actually, I believe these strange noises they make (which are replayed at the end) are a reference to the chicken noises in Arrested Development, in which Will Arnett stars. (A sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7M6Tgf5Nsik)
I didn’t even bother with this movie. I’m just so sick of the blatant 80s/90s nostalgia pandering at this point.
So….. does this mean Tamara is out of the show all together? Or was that just a running joke throughout the review.
I mean, Brexit, Trump as President and Tamara leaving is too much for one year.

Well, If you take a look at the video then it happens a few times (2 or 3 if I recall) where they put in the text “This is Tamara now” next to the girl from Awesome Comics (I forget her name). So my thoughts are… are they being replaced or was that just a joke for the sketch? I would not be surprised that this was a hint that she is leaving, similar to what they had planned for Tamara replacing Rachel before someone accidentally deleted the original footage of Face off.
I’m pretty sure that was just a running joke for the video. Until or unless Tamara herself, Doug or someone else at CA makes an announcement declaring such, all of that just pointless speculation which is liable to spook the horses. This is rumor, not report, so there’s no need to dwell on it unless we see/hear/read something official. That’s how internet rumors get started.
BTW, ‘the girl from Awesome Comics’ name is Aiyanna Wade. Surprisingly, no one’s mentioned that Heather Ruesz (sp?), also from Awesome Comics, played Laura Linney here.

Why were you expecting JonTron? AFAIK, he’s never expressed an avowed interest in TMNT, nor did he appear at the end of Doug’s editorial like James Rolfe and Andre Meadows did. I understand why’d you want Jon to do a crossover with the Critic, the dude’s funny, but there was never any indication that he was going to be in this.
How does anyone get this new player to run? It doesn’t let you pick resolution or pause in Firefox, and it does nothing at all in Chromium. What the hell?
I’m using Chrome and it dies on me like every 5-10 minutes becoming totally unresponsive. Still unable to watch the complete review.

I like how the comics (any of them), 2003 TV cartoon series or the current one never appear when they mention the reoccurring problems in the franchise.

I agree with mattwo, the Nerd does know about the second cartoon. I am disappointment that the people currently behind the franchise want pretend the 2003 cartoon never happened.

how come Doug gets so angry at Dr. Seuss movies ruining the themes and spirit of the original work but he loves the original cartoon Ninja Turtles and ONLY that version despite it doing the same?

I mean if Leonardo is saying he’s better than everyone else and/or says his orders are the only ones that count that’s fine to complain about, but including the parts where he’s trying to get the others to respect their father’s rules and pointing out that the others are making asses out of themselves makes me think “HOW DOES THAT MAKE HIM A BAD LEADER!?”
How is it that the CG of Krang’s world looks about as refined as that of Spy Kids 3D?
