Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween – The Cinema Snob

Before the sequel comes out, The Cinema Snob sees the first Madea Halloween movie.

About thecinemasnob

Brad Jones portrays The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film snob who is stuck with reviewing Z-Grade exploitation flicks of the past. I'm a big guy. For you.

  1. I think those CinemaScore ratings just need to be rearranged. This should have the F, Mother! should have the C and The Wolf of Wall Street should have the A.

  2. I am proud to say that I have not seen ANY of the Madea movies, and I have no plans in my life to see them. Now if someone made a line of movies starring Fat Grandma, I’ll go see each of them on opening night.

0:20- Tyler Perry Productions in Association with Tyler Perry Presents: Tyler Perry’s Tyler Perry, Featuring Tyler Perry as Tyler Perry.

The text on the opening credits look like it was used in those direct-to-video Casper movies from the 90s.

4:12- No wonder I heard of this movie so suddenly last year. The same can be said about the goddamn sequel.

Why must Tyler Perry make a whole ocean of movies where the dialogue is made up of Line-o-rama? I’m not afraid to say it, but my favorite Tyler Perry performance is Baxter Stockman from TMNT: Out of the Shadows.

10:31- And I’m reminded of the fact that Grown Ups 2 beat Pacific Rim for #1 at the box office on opening weekend.

17:39- I’ve seen a 2-part episode of Goosebumps that did the whole “scary things were faked” thing far better than this shitty movie.

Jesus Christ, Madea fans. GET A FUCKING BRAIN!

  3. Remember when only good movies got sequels?
